Role summary

This position within the Finance Team will allow you to work on managing YELDO's growth in several European markets, playing a critical role in the construction of an harmonic financial and corporate structure for YELDO across several countries of operations.

You will join as the first finance specialist and you will report directly to YELDO's Chief Financial Officer.

We are seeking an energetic colleague with strong knowledge and a solid background of accounting principles and financial planning. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and/or within the team developing internal tools related to financial planning and cost control requirements, with a constant reporting activity within the Group bodies.

Profile description

The perfect candidate has a desire to learn about our investment products and can understand complex financial information clearly. As a Finance Specialist, you must be excellent in understanding accounting principles, budgeting, financial and accounting analysis, you will need to develop and maintain a comprehensive internal control system, a global financial analysis tool and a revenues/costs attribution framework within companies of the Group. In addition, you will be required to participate and contribute to corporate activities of the Group, such as special financial situations and internal organization.

Main responsibilities

  • Work alongside the CFO regarding revenues/costs analysis and intercompany attribution
  • Support the CFO on budgeting, cost control, accounting
  • Develop a comprehensive internal control system in alignment with the requirements of regional YELDO companies
  • Drive and support growth companies and Group growth and ensure an harmonic financial structure framework across the Group
  • Establish financial plans for existing companies, for newly created companies and for external entities, linked to the activity of the Group
  • Relationships with company and group auditors
  • Support within the financial team regarding corporate actions and special situations, active participation to the fund raising program of the Group
  • Financial reporting
  • Support to the CFO regarding other Corporate activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, management, or related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial planning, accounting and/or audit
  • Mandatory excellent communication, both verbal and written in Italian and English
  • Knowledge of German or French is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and self-organize tasks
  • Ability to ideate and execute sales strategies
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel in particular and ability to develop internal tools or add-ins, programming skills on VBA
  • Passion for technology and ability to adapt (and select) to new softwares
  • Able to understand and clearly explain complex information
  • Experience in financial services and products is a plus

Location: Italy, Milan

Training: a training budget will be available for your personal development both for soft and hard skills development, useful for reaching your objectives and YELDO’s objectives.

Contract: Full-time position with permanent contract.
