YELDO is a fast growing fintech start-up in the real estate investment space. We offer direct access to institutional-grade real estate investments via our digital platform.

Our mission is to deliver the best online real estate investing experience by bringing access, transparency and simplicity to invest in real estate deals that have been historically available only to the few.

Role summary

As our Talent acquisition specialist you will be our go-to person for all YELDO Group talent needs (Italy, Switzerland and soon other countries) and serve as the trusted partner of our executive team. You will drive execution of YELDO ambitious recruiting targets, but also contribute to strengthen a passionate culture within our fast-growing tech startup.

This is a very key role at YELDO as you are going to represent us externally and shape the development of our most valuable asset: our team members. This is why you will report directly to YELDO Group COO and potentially take a leading people role in YELDO further on.

Main job activities

Recruiting

  • Contribute to discussing YELDO recruiting needs with leadership team
  • Review available positions and candidate requirements
  • Develop and nurture our candidates pool in order to anticipate and meet our recruiting needs
  • Lead external recruiting agencies if needed
  • Find the right candidates across our departments in Italy and Switzerland, take care of job descriptions, job posting, CV screening, initial phone screening and reference checking
  • Lead the interviewing process, communicating with candidates and ensuring smooth execution
  • Manage YELDO résumé database
  • Contribute to develop a top-notch interviewing process in alignment with our values
  • Participate in budgeting to ensure hiring needs are aligned with company finance

Talent development and culture

  • Ensure new team members have a seamless transition into YELDO, from acceptance of final offer to their first weeks and months at work.
  • Ensure a seamless offboarding process of talent, and encourage long lasting ties to YELDO even as people move on in their careers
  • Drive team engagement, inclusion and cohesion via team events, social gathering, training and community building activities
  • Ensure our values are reflected in all our operations, from hiring to offboarding (which we hope we don’t do much!)

Profile description

You are the perfect candidate if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, people operations
  • Knowledge of recruiting softwares and databases (eg. Linkedin)
  • Love for people: you love people, you are a team member, you strive for collaboration and enjoy supporting your team members in every possible way
  • Ownership: you want to take responsibility for your actions, you have your own ideas for how to create a great place to work
  • Activation: you default to action, start things and get them done
  • Communication skills: you have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Great organizational skills: you excel at putting order to chaos
  • Love for innovation: you hate the word "excel" in the sentence above
  • Startup experience: you have worked in a startup before, you thrive in ambiguity

Our day-to-day is challenging and fast-evolving, that’s why we are looking for passion, motivation and creativity: you’ll be asked to recruit a lot of people, be effective in problem-solving, stand up for your choices and be autonomous in your execution.

Other important things to know

Location: Milan, Italy. But we love remote working!

Training: a training budget will be available for your personal development both for tech and not-tech courses useful for reaching your objectives and YELDO’s objectives. Eg. public speaking, coding, Excel, etc.

Contract: Full-time position with permanent contract.

Salary range: RAL from € 35k to € 45k depending on your experience. We pay above market rate because we believe in rewarding top talent!
