YELDO is a fintech company in the real estate investment space with offices in Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Italy.  We offer direct digital access to institutional-level real estate investments via our technology platform.

As of today, we financed EUR 850m+ worth of projects in Europe and Switzerland with an historical IRR of 14.6% and 0% default rate.

Our mission is to deliver the best online real estate investing experience by bringing access, transparency, and liquidity to invest in an asset class that has historically been available only to the few.

Role summary

As our Transaction & Business Development Manager you will be driving the execution of our deals. 

This is a core role in the investment team of YELDO as you are going to build your pipeline, interact internally within YELDO team, and externally with advisors to ensure your deals get executed and we deliver on our value proposition: offering the best institutional-grade real estate deals for our clients

For this role you will report to our Chief Investment Officer (20+ years of Real Estate investment experience at Morgan Stanley, Angelo Gordon, etc.).

Main job activities

  • Lead deal pre-screening and due diligence coordinating internal analyst team and external advisors engaged ad-hoc
  • Lead deal documents preparation including pitch books, information memorandum, asset books, reports, summaries, etc.
  • Lead deal presentation to YELDO Investment Committee which includes Senior Advisors from Percassi, BNP RE, Morgan Stanley RE, ING RE, etc.
  • Lead deal execution coordinating internal (financial product team, distribution team) and external stakeholders (eg. lawyers, fiscal advisors, brokers, etc.) 
  • Support origination and business development activities to generate investment opportunities for YELDO

Profile description

You are the perfect candidate if you have:

  • Degree in Finance, Business or Economics
  • Mandatory 7+ years professional experience in Real Estate (eg. you have worked for Real Estate Advisory Team/SGRs, Investment Banks RE desk, Capital Markets of top-tier brokerage companies)
  • Professional knowledge of Italian RE market (e.g. existing network for origination of potential deals, good understanding of asset classes, existing relations with key RE players)
  • English proficiency, 1 other EU language is a plus
  • Ownership: you want to take responsibility for your actions, you have an entrepreneurial attitude to solving problems
  • Activation: you default to action, you start things and get things done
  • Communication skills: you have excellent written and verbal communication to coordinate a number of stakeholders

Other important things to know

  • Location: Milan, Italy. But we have a 2 day remote working policy
  • Training: a training budget will be available for your personal development both for tech and not-tech courses useful for reaching your objectives and YELDO’s objectives. Eg. public speaking, coding, Excel, etc.
  • Contract: Full-time position with permanent contract.
