YELDO is a fintech company in the real estate investment space with offices in Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Italy. We offer direct digital access to institutional-level real estate investments via our technology platform.
As of today, we have raised capital for about 1Bn of real estate projects in Europe and Switzerland with an historical IRR of ca. 14.6% and 0% default rate.
Our mission is to deliver the best online real estate investing experience by bringing access, transparency, and liquidity to invest in an asset class that has historically been available only to the few.
Role summary
This position within the Finance Team will allow you to work on YELDO's financial and operational needs, playing a critical role in the construction of an harmonic financial and corporate structure for YELDO across several countries: Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
You will report directly to YELDO's Chief Financial Officer.
We are seeking an energetic and hands-on colleague with knowledge and background of finance and accounting. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and/or within the team developing internal tools related to financial planning and cost control requirements, with a constant reporting activity within the Group bodies.

Profile description
The perfect candidate has a desire to learn about our investment products and can understand complex financial information clearly. As a Finance Specialist Intern, you must be excellent in understanding accounting principles, budgeting, financial and accounting analysis, you will need to develop and maintain a comprehensive internal control system, financial analysis tools and revenues/costs attribution framework within companies of the Group. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in financial management and analysis within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to various finance-related projects and initiatives.

Main responsibilities
● Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis both for the company and the fund under management.
● Financial Reporting: Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
● Data Management: Assist in managing financial data and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness for reporting and analysis purposes.
● Financial Operations: Support day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management.
● Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function, contributing ideas and assisting in implementation efforts.
● Ad-hoc Projects: Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by members of the Finance team, gaining exposure to various aspects of financial management.
Requirements
● Top grade master's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field
● Mandatory excellent communication, both verbal and written in Italian and English
● Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and self-organize tasks
● Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
● Experience in financial services/investment products and tech start-ups is a strong plus

● Contract: 6 months internship.
