Role summary
As a Portfolio Manager you will report to YELDO CFO and will play a critical role in overseeing all YELDO investments, including the allocations of the newly launched YELDO Real Estate Private Debt Fund. This role involves a combination of strategy and execution with the objective to develop and continuously optimize YELDO investments portfolio to deliver the promised risk-return to our growing community of professional investors.
Main responsibilities
- Financial Structuring: Ideate and execute the best financial structures for YELDO investments based on underlying securities, real estate assets, collaterals, costs and regulation/tax compliance (eg. AIF , Securitization Vehicles, etc.)
- Portfolio Optimization: Manage YELDO investment portfolio and identify opportunities for portfolio optimization considering several elements such as costs, liquidity, fund’s redemption windows, etc.
- Performance Evaluation:Continuously monitor and evaluate our investments’ performance against established benchmarks and objectives. Provide regular reports on portfolio performance, investment activities, and market insights to investors and internal or external stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Implement risk management strategies to protect assets and mitigate potential risks. Monitor market volatility, assess risk exposures, and develop risk mitigation plans in collaboration with external professionals.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies governing our investments in collaboration with external consultants. Stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact investment strategies and portfolio management.
- Investment Strategy: Support YELDO CIO in the development of YELDO investment strategies in line with our investment objectives, risk tolerance, and market conditions.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely communication and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. A Master's Degree or CFA designation is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Portfolio Manager or similar role, with a successful track record in managing investment portfolios.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment financial structures and asset allocation strategies.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to perform complex financial analysis and modelling.
- Excellent decision-making abilities, with a focus on risk management and achieving investment objectives.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate investment strategies and market insights to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, managing different stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to acting in the best interest of YELDO investors.
